About the Role

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day field operations on our residential projects in Austin, Texas. This role is for a hands-on, accountable leader who takes ownership of the job site, ensures seamless coordination across trades, and upholds the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The Site Supervisor plays a critical role in translating plans into reality—driving progress, maintaining order, and ensuring every detail aligns with Buildlabs expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of daily job site operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to Buildlabs standards
- Open, manage, and secure the job site each day, maintaining full control of access and activity
- Oversee all subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and visitors on site
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and sequencing to maintain project flow and deadlines
- Ensure all work aligns with construction documents, specifications, and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site environment at all times
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations
- Conduct ongoing site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and progress benchmarks are consistently met
- Work closely with Project Managers to align field execution with project schedules and objectives
- Identify and proactively resolve issues related to delays, materials, or site conditions
- Coordinate deliveries and manage on-site materials and logistics
- Support inspections and ensure readiness for all required approvals
- Document daily progress through photos, notes, and reporting as required
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of residential construction experience, preferably in high-end/luxury projects
- Proven experience supervising job sites and managing multiple trades
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with accuracy
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Procore and Construction Management software preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to remain active on job sites and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours when required to meet project demands
