New office marks the company's long-term commitment to the region and supports the launch of luxury residential projects across the Texas Hill Country.
LAKEWAY, Texas — BuildLabs has officially opened its new office in Lakeway, establishing a permanent presence in Central Texas as the company expands its residential design-build services throughout the region.
Located near Travis Club, Spanish Oaks, and other premier communities, the office will serve as the operational hub for BuildLabs' growing Texas team, bringing construction management, procurement, accounting, and operations together in one collaborative workspace.
"We weren't simply looking for a place to open an office," said Punit Chugh, cofounder of BuildLabs. "We were looking for a community where we could build lasting relationships, learn from local partners, and contribute something meaningful over the long term. We found that in Lakeway."
The new office supports several projects already underway, including two custom residences at Travis Club developed in partnership with Austin Studio Architects.
Although BuildLabs brings decades of experience delivering complex luxury homes around the world, the company intentionally partnered with a respected local architecture firm for its first Texas projects.
"Every region has its own architectural language and way of building," Chugh said. "We wanted to begin by listening, learning, and working alongside people who know this place well. That's how we believe lasting companies are built."
The Lakeway office also reflects the company's integrated approach to construction. Rather than separating departments, BuildLabs designed the space to encourage collaboration between project management, procurement, finance, and operations, allowing teams to resolve challenges early and deliver greater certainty throughout the building process.
That same philosophy extends to the homes themselves. BuildLabs continues to invest in advanced engineering, sustainable building practices, and integrated construction systems that simplify complex projects while improving quality, efficiency, and long-term performance.
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand the Lakeway location into a comprehensive client experience center where homeowners can explore more than 30,000 Build-Ready home plans, compare materials and finishes, collaborate with designers, and navigate every stage of the design and construction process through one coordinated team.
"We've learned a great deal building exceptional homes over the years," Chugh said. "Our goal is to make that experience more accessible without compromising the quality, craftsmanship, or attention to detail that defines every BuildLabs home."
As BuildLabs continues to grow in Texas, its mission remains unchanged: to continually advance the way homes and buildings are designed and built.
